Sandblasting Facility
Bacchin has an industrial sandblasting facility consisting of a manual steel grit blasting booth measuring 5.00 × 5.00 × 15.00 metres. This equipment enables cleaning and surface preparation of components and structures that fit within the booth, allowing targeted treatment of different areas.
Manual sandblasting removes rust, oxidation, production residues and deteriorated coatings, helping achieve the surface condition required for subsequent protective coatings.
Alongside the manual booth is an automatic roller conveyor blasting machinewith a pass-through opening measuring 2.00 × 1.50 metres. This automated process treats components that meet the machine’s dimensional requirements, making it particularly suitable for jobs requiring continuous operation and consistent surface preparation.
The choice between manual and automatic sandblasting depends on the component’s geometry, dimensions, material and required finish.
With both technologies available, Bacchin can meet a range of production requirements, integrating surface preparation with subsequent metallising and industrial painting treatments.
Microblasting Facility
Themicroblasting facility provides cleaning and surface finishing using abrasive materials selected to suit the substrate and the desired result.
Bacchin uses a range of abrasives, including Garnet, corundum and glass beads, selecting the most suitable option for the material and the requirements of the job.
Key applications include work on vehicle bodies, stainless steel and wood, surfaces that require careful consideration of the method and intensity of the abrasive action.
Garnet is a mineral abrasive used for specific cleaning and surface preparation operations, while corundum is used for jobs requiring targeted abrasive action. Glass beads are suitable for certain cleaning and finishing treatments, depending on the material.
The abrasive, grit size and process parameters are selected based on the substrate’s initial condition and the required surface finish.

Drying Oven
To complete industrial painting cycles, Bacchin has four drying ovens for treating components and parts of different sizes.
The equipment includes:
- Two drying ovens measuring 14.00 × 14.00 × 5.00 metres.
- Two drying ovens measuring 7.00 × 14.00 × 5.00 metres.
These ovens are used to dry applied coatings, subject to the dimensions of the components and the technical specifications of the products used.
Drying is an important stage in industrial painting processes, as the temperature and treatment times must comply with the requirements of the coating process.
The availability of ovens in different sizes makes it possible to plan jobs around component types and production requirements, supporting the management of surface treatment processes.

Lifting Equipment

To meet these requirements, Bacchin has lifting equipment and industrial handling machineryto manage loading, unloading and the movement of materials around the facility.
The company can handle and lift components weighing up to 20 tonnes and has the following equipment:
- Four 10-tonne Demag overhead cranes.
- One 3-tonne Linde forklift.
- One 2.5-tonne Linde forklift.
This equipment enables Bacchin to handle industrial components of varying sizes, organising their movement according to the characteristics of the components and operating conditions.
Dedicated lifting systems help manage the different production stages, making it easier to position materials in the sandblasting facilities, treatment areas and spaces for subsequent operations.
